Scenario setup rules
Players write down in secret two of their own models. These models are now “Marked
for Protection”. Next, players write down in secret two enemy models. These models are now
“Marked for Death”. This occurs after any models are selected to be broken on the Wheel or
sacrificed in a similar manner. Such models cannot be Marked.
Deployment rules
Players roll a d6. The player who rolled higher chooses their Deployment Zone
and begins placing models. Players alternate placing one model at a time.
Infiltration rules
Allowed under general rules.
Game start
The player with fewer models selects who goes first. If both players have the same
number of models, roll a d6, the player with the higher result selects who starts the game.
Special rules
Marked: At the start of each turn, both players reveal one of the Marked models simultaneously,
as follows:
● First Turn: Reveal one enemy Marked for Death model.
● Second Turn: Reveal one friendly Marked for Protection model.
● Third Turn: Reveal one enemy Marked for Death model.
● Fourth Turn: Reveal one friendly Marked for Protection model.
The Marked model can already be dead when revealed.
The same model can be Marked for Death and Marked for Protection at the same time.
Scoring
Players score VP at the end of the game, as follows:
● 2 VP for each enemy Marked for Death model killed.
● 2 VP for each enemy Marked for Protection model killed.
● 1 VP for each friendly Marked for Protection model in the enemy half of the table.
● An additional 2VP for the player who killed more Marked for Death enemy models.
Additionally:
● 1 VP for every full 25% of the enemy warband dead at the end of the game.
● 1 VP if the enemy Leader is Out of Action.
● 1-3 VP for achieving the Secret Objective.
Secondary Objective:
● At the end of the game, there is at least one of your Marked for Protection models in the
enemy deployment zone. Completing this objective awards 2 VP toward Secret Orders /
Secondary Objectives.
